Where do we provide face-to-face Dutch lessons?
Our tutors provide face-to-face Dutch lessons in various major cities, including Amsterdam, Haarlem, Leiden, and now also Utrecht. The lessons do not necessarily have to take place in the city center. Our tutors are flexible and work throughout the city. Where do you want to take your offline Dutch lessons: at your home, at the office, or in your favorite cafe workspace?

Would you rather take your Dutch lessons online? That’s possible as well! Just like in-person classes, you can take online Dutch lessons anywhere you want. The prices of the lesson packages below apply to one-on-one in-person Dutch lessons. Are there two or more of you? For each extra student, there is an additional charge of only €10.Â

Payment
You can pay your face-to-face Dutch lessons in advance or in installments. Paying upfront saves you 5% of the total price. If your employer is paying for your lessons, you can bill your employer directly or pay under your name.

Of course! Most of our students choose to learn Dutch from home but you can mix it up however you like. Choose your favorite café for example, study in the library or learn at your office.
We offer face-to-face Dutch lessons in packages of 12, 24, 48, and 96 hours. As you are free to determine the frequency and length (min. 60 minutes) of your lessons yourself, the duration of your course can vary from just a few weeks to several months. There is always plenty of time to finish your lessons credit, even if you pause your in-person Dutch course for a couple of weeks.Â
Yes we do! You can book your face-to-face Dutch course with a friend/partner/colleague or your family members and study Dutch together. The best part: for each additional student, only € 10 will be added to the standard lesson price.Â
Private Dutch classes from home can provide great results quickly because we can tailor lesson content, speed and style to match how you learn best. In addition, we offer the possibility to take a Dutch course together with a friend, colleague or family member. We do not provide traditional group classes. Exceptions to this are our online group exam training A2 and our online group exam training B1, as well as our in-company Dutch lessons.Â
Yes. We provide online Dutch lessons as well as Dutch lessons at home. Online Dutch lessons can be just as effective, fun and easy as in-person lessons. Lessons can be done via Teams, Zoom, Google Hangouts, or any other secure platform.Â
All of our face-to-face Dutch courses include your own private Dutch tutor, and custom lesson materials. Our lessons are tax free, as the Dutch government agrees that learning Dutch is an essential activity for expats to integrate into life in the Netherlands.
Do note that the tutor’s travel expenses are not included in the standard lesson price and will be determined based on the exact location where you want to take your face-to-face Dutch lessons.
Payment is done upfront or in installments, and by bank transfer. Your private Dutch lessons from home can kick off as soon as we have received your (first) payment. We will of course provide you with an invoice.
We offer the possibility to pause your face-to-face Dutch lessons at any time, and can refund your remaining lesson credit up until your 3rd lesson. Not satisfied with your teacher? We are also happy to find you an alternative tutor, that you might just have a better connection with.
Payment is to be made in advance by bank transfer or Ideal. You can pay the full amount of the course either in 1 go, or choose to pay in terms We will of course provide you with an invoice.
Even better: Dutch lessons are completely tax free as determined by the Dutch government. Easy as that!
Definitely. All we need are your company’s invoice details and the email address of the person handling finances. The invoice for your Dutch lessons will then get sent directly to them.
Lesson credits are valid for 3-9 months, depending on the package you choose. Within these 3-9 months you have the freedom to schedule lessons when and where you want, making it possible to pause your course for a few weeks should that become necessary. Simply can’t find a way to complete your course in time? We’ll be happy to discuss the possibilities of extending your credits whenever necessary.
If your goal is to speak with confidence we’re here to help. To learn effectively you need to embrace making mistakes and truly become interested in what you’re trying to learn. Our tutors create a safe learning environment and guide you towards exercise material that is relevant to your personal interests.
Lessons take place online, or at your home or office. Whichever you prefer. If you’re the adventurous type, some of our tutors are happy to show you the city during your Dutch lessons as well.
You get to decide together with your teacher which online platform works best for the both of you. This can range from Teams to Zoom to Google Meet.
The platforms we use vary from Google Meet to Zoom to Teams. It’s really up to you and your teacher to find one that fits both of you best. In terms of content, through use of screen sharing, combined workspaces and the like we’re able to offer a learning experience much like face-to-face lessons. All with the benefits of being online.
During your intake you can decide when and where you want lessons. You also decide lesson length and frequency, though we do recommend 2 lessons of 1.5 hours each week for the best results. Lessons are planned directly with your tutor and can be cancelled up to 48 hours in advance.
We’ll always try our best to find a tutor for your preferred time and location. If we can’t find a fitting tutor, we’ll suggest alternative lesson scheduling.
Yes. Finding the right chemistry is key. That’s why we find it important that you get to know your tutor. If your tutor’s style isn’t a great fit, let us know. We’ll pair you with a new tutor free of charge. We’ll always help you find the perfect replacement so you can make the most of your lessons.
Our first question would be: how much homework do you want? Some of our students simply can’t find the time in their busy lives and that is absolutely ok! We work based on your schedule and not the other way around. Want to keep practicing outside of the lessons? Your teacher will discuss with you the amount and type of homework that is suitable for you.
We definitely can! Our teachers have plenty of experience with preparing students for their Dutch language exams. We can determine your current level together before the start of the online course, where after we help you gain the knowledge you still need to pass your exam.
Don’t worry, you won’t. Our Dutch lessons can be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours in advance. Cancellations within 48 hours will be billed in full. Also, you can decide your own lesson time, so lessons will always be convenient in your busy schedule.
We offer the possibility to choose a 10-, 20-, 40-, or 90-hour lesson package. As you decide on the frequency and length of your Dutch lessons, your course length can vary from 2 weeks up to 9 months. That’s up to you! Your lesson credit is available for 4-9 months depending on your lesson package. Each package includes at least 6 weeks more than necessary, so you have plenty of time to complete your Dutch course.
