The complete Dutch B1 exam training consists of 11 online sessions of 1,5 hour each. The training takes a few weeks in total. Are you taking the course because you want to pass the Dutch State Exam NT2-I? Then you do not need to attend the last two sessions (KNM). Do you need to take the civic integration exam at B1 level? Then these sessions are included in the package price. It is also possible to register for just one or more parts.
This course is designed for learners who have already reached CEFR level B1 in Dutch and want to prepare specifically for the official B1 exam. It focuses on exam skills and strategies, not on building your general language level.
You will work with authentic exam tasks in reading, writing, listening, and speaking, as well as KNM (in case you’re preparing for the civic integration exam). The focus is on understanding the exam format, managing your time, and applying effective strategies.
Yes. This intensive Dutch B1 exam preparation course is meant for learners who already meet the B1 level requirements and want to finetune their exam skills. Do you still need some work to reach this level? Private Dutch lessons with one of our tutors focus exactly on your goals and needs.
Absolutely. Your exam tutor will give personalised feedback after joint practice sessions, helping you refine your approach and improve your answers in each exam section.
Yes. One of the main goals of this Dutch B1 exam training is to reduce exam stress by making you familiar with the format, timing, and expectations. The more you know what’s coming, the more confident and calm you’ll feel on exam day.
Payment is to be made in advance by bank transfer or Ideal. You can pay the full amount of the course either in 1 go, or choose to pay in terms. We will of course provide you with an invoice.

Our Dutch B1 exam course takes place online, and in small groups.
The platform we use depends on the specific course. We work with familiar platforms, including Teams and Google Meet. After registering, you will receive details and instructions regarding access to the online meetings.
No, unlike the private Dutch lessons we offer, these lessons are not scheduled in consultation. We follow a fixed group program, and the exact dates can be found on the page.
If we have received too few registrations for an exam training, we will let you know in time. You will receive an email from us two weeks at the email address you provided two weeks before the starting date of the course.
After each online meeting, you will receive homework from your tutor. This usually involves taking (part of) an official exam. Although homework is essential for progress and consistency, we take into account the fact that most of our students have busy daily lives.
Of course, you may miss a class. In that case, ask the exam tutor for a handout of the presentation and do the homework assigned at the end of the class so that you are fully up to date for the next class.
