Are these really all private 1‑on‑1 lessons?
Yes. All the reviews on this page are from students who did private lessons (1‑on‑1 or 2‑on‑1), both online and in-person. With the exception of the section specifically for in-company group courses.
Do you have dedicated Inburgering / NT2 exam tracks?
Yes. We usually work in two phases:
- First we get you to the required level (A2, B1 or B2).
- Then we focus on exam strategy: practising with old exams, timing, and how to structure your answers.
How do you decide which tutor I get?
We match you based on your level, goals, schedule, personality and language background. You’ll see in many reviews that students mention how well their tutor fit them, that is not an accident. If the match doesn’t feel right after the test lesson, we can look at switching.
What if it’s not a good fit?
If by your 3rd lesson you feel it’s not a good fit, you can stop and get the remaining hours of your package refunded according to our policy. Talk to us and we’ll help you find a solution.
What if my schedule is unpredictable?
Most of our students have busy jobs, kids and travel. Lessons can be cancelled or moved up to 48 hours in advance without losing your hours, and you can pause within the validity period of your package. We set a rhythm together that fits real life, not a perfect calendar.
How do I know if I should start with 1‑on‑1 or something cheaper?
If you just want to “try Dutch” on your own, our self‑study Dutch Ready Community might be enough. If you need Dutch for exams, work or daily life in the Netherlands, and you don’t want to waste another year, 1‑on‑1 is simply faster and more focused. On the explore call we’ll help you choose the right lane.
What exactly is included in the €84,95 test lesson?
The test lesson includes:
- Intake questions about your goals, schedule and preferences
- A baseline level check
- A 1‑hour online lesson with a matched tutor
It’s a full, normal lesson, not just a chat.
If you start a package within 7 days, we credit the full €84,95 towards your package.
Is the €84,95 test lesson a one‑time fee or per lesson?
It’s a one‑time fee for the test lesson: intake questions, level check and a 1‑hour online lesson with a matched tutor.

Do I have to do a test lesson, or can I start straight with a package?
Most students do a test lesson first so we can check your level and tutor match.
If after the explore call it’s very clear what you need, you can start directly with a package, but we still recommend at least one test lesson before committing to a larger number of hours.

Our online 1‑on‑1 packages start from €900.
You can either pay in full (with a small discount) or spread the cost over monthly instalments.
All prices include VAT; Dutch language lessons are VAT‑exempt under education rules.
